We walked along the beach and came upon a fresh water waterfall. More opportunity for fun!

Dig we must

Though we did not keep the clam- we added it to Dan, the clam man’s bucket.

After digging and bailing and plugging the leaks in our hole we finally got to the clam.

This re-defines “working for dinner”.

In the process Sam found a big steamer clam. Another delicacy for Dan’s dinner.

Gaper Clam

This is what it will look like once we dig it up. It’s the second largest type of clam.

Samantha spied a clam spout spraying water so Dan showed us how to dig.

We were poking around in the tide pools and came across Dan. He was digging for clams and gave us some lessons.

Bladder Seaweed is actually quite tasty. We all tried some!
