Built in the late 1800’s, this boat wore a lot of hats during it’s 97 year career. It was built here and also retired in Gold Beach. It was floating until recently when work on the boat made a hole in the bottom and it sunk.

That’s the Peterson bridge in the background. It was built in the 1930’s and was an engineering marvel due to it’s use of concrete and arches.
